Rotorua Museum of Art and History ..... An
architectural icon in itself, the Rotorua Museum is
located in the Bath House building. Displaying the
essence of Rotorua, people, culture and volcanic
landscape.
Tamaki Maori Village ..... This unique
village offers a variety of exciting Maori culture
performances, arts and crafts, traditional Maori
feasts, tribal arts and café.
The Buried Village ..... This excavated
village was buried by a volcanic eruption in
1886. It now hosts the Museum of Te Wairoa,
the excavated village including a Maori Whare
(dwelling), a stone store house, a canoe and
some local shops such as the black smith and the
barmans house. Nearby there is also the Te
Wairoa Waterfall walking track and tearooms.

Luge ..... Take the Gondola up the hill,
great way to see the sights from a height, and jump
on the luge to make your way down, on either the
beginners or the more exciting advanced slope.

This superbly presented but natural Wildlife Park, featuring New Zealand’s wild trout, wild animals and birdlife
is set amongst native bush and ferns with many sparkling pools, springs and a beautiful wetland for New Zealands water birds.
